Shamanic healing
Inka shamans have practiced energy medicine for many thousands of years, and it’s more lately that modern societies have adapted this. Since this culture didn’t develop any written language the knowledge has been overlooked by scholars in favour for others who made documentations.
Albert Einstein has in modern time recognized energy by his equation E=MC² where he describes the relationship between energy and matter. Earlier it was more common that we identified energy as sources like, wood, coal and oil. In the ancient world energy was considered the living fabric of the Universe. Energy was creation made manifest.
It’s more common that we in the west identify with the side of matter, which is by nature finite, while the shamans identify themselves with the side of energy, which is by nature infinite.
